Obituary
Veteran Galo Efrain Carrera, Sr. passed away at the age of 71, on the early morning of May 3, 2023 after battling lung cancer.
Galo was born on October 29, 1951 in Ambato, Ecuador to Segundo Ricardo Carrera and Julia Ines Ramos.
He was predeceased by his son, Galo Efrain Carrera, Jr III.
He proudly served in the 82nd Airbourne Forces Division in the U.S. Army. Galo was a devoted father who is survived by his children, Danilo Mauricio Carrera, Galo Efrain Carrera, Jr, Jacquelyn Carrera, Julia Ines Carrera and Suleyma Carrera.
A father like you is rare, one that is generous, smart and kind. A father like you is what everyone needs, who is full of smiles and laughter; always doing great deeds. Nothing can replace a dad like you; but when you get to heaven, God would be proud to have you too.
To know our dad, Galo was to love him.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society Orlando chapel located at 1654 N. Semoran Blvd, Suite 130, Orlando FL 32807, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
The Orlando Chapel of the Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society is honored to care for Mr. Carrera and his family at this time. Those wishing to share a memory or light a virtual candle in his memory are encouraged to do so on his memorial page.
