Obituary
Garry Woodard Stidham of North Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on August 15, 2022 with his first wife Wendy Tucker (née Wilkins) by his side.
He was affectionately known as the “Junkyard Dawg” due to his passion for cars and auto salvage. He was a “good ol’ boy, never meaning no harm” who loved cowboy boots, country music, and bulldogs.
He was born on March 1, 1952, to Joshua Woodard Stidham and Lorraine Francis Gallimore (née Lancaster) in Kennett, Missouri, but spent most of his life either in Fort Myers, FL or Brazoria, TX.
He is survived by his daughters Ginger Stidham and Josie Phelps (née Stidham), step-daughter Christina Tucker, brother Jim Ayers, sister Bridget Stidham, Uncle BJ Lancaster, grandchildren Brad, Jack, Marisa, and Madelyn, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, sister Nelda Gautreaux (née Ayers), and brothers Larry Stidham, Bobby Stidham, Jimmy Ray Stidham, and Jerry Stidham.
The family would like to thank Lou Parent for being a dear friend to him, especially in his last days.
