Obituary

Gary Lewis Mugridge, age 83, of Orlando, Florida, peacefully passed away at home, with his family by his side, on June 4, 2019.  He was born and raised in Port Huron, Michigan.  Gary attended Union Bible College in Berea, Kentucky.  He then proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  Gary went on to pursue a career in the transportation industry working for Greyhound, Indian Trails, and Walt Disney World.

Gary married his wife, Sally, in 1960.  The two made their home in Owosso, Michigan and raised three children.  Gary and Sally then moved to Orlando in 1987 to pursue their dream of living in Florida.  Gary was blessed to live in a place he loved with the people he loved.  His passion was his family.  He loved people, and everyone he met became a friend.  He and Sally traveled the United States and enjoyed camping and Major League Baseball.

Gary is survived by his loving wife Sally and their children, Gary Mugridge, Jr. (Devon), West Palm Beach, Florida; Vicki Taylor (Michael), Dallas, Texas; Luanne Liles (William), Melbourne, Florida; grandchildren Bradley Williams (Cathy), Dallas, Texas; Laura Smithman (Matt), Atlanta, Georgia; Jenna Williams, Dallas, Texas; and Alexander Liles, Tallahassee, Florida; and brother Richard Mugridge (Valerie), Detroit, Michigan.

He was a kind and good man. Always with a smile and up to something silly. Made friends where ever he was. Could not have loved his wife, his kids and grandkids more. I am truly blessed to have married into such a loving family.
