Gary J Nicolella, 67, New Smyrna Beach FL died Wednesday, March 2,2011 peacefully at home. Gary was born in Bronx, New York. He served our nation in the United States Air Force and later worked as a corrections officer at the Woodbury Correction Facility for 30 years. His family remembered his enjoyment of working with electronics, carpentry and gardening. He was a communicant at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church New Smyrna Beach FL. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 41 years Nancy, a son Michael of Seattle, WA, sister Laura Rispol of Spring Hill, FL. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Friday, March 11 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church 4500 South Atlantic Avenue New Smyrna Beach FL 32169.
