Obituary

Brad left his earthly life in Ormond Beach, Florida, passing through the gates of heaven on Friday, February 12, 2021 of natural causes.  Life was better for all who knew Brad. He made and nurtured lasting friendships as he travelled coast to coast as evidenced by the hundreds of calls, cards, text messages, the sharing of homemade meals, laughter and tears, flowers, and donations from his family, extended family members and friends since his passing.

Brad was born in Pahokee, FL on October 15, 1974, the happiest day of his mother’s life. His big personality and sense of humor soon earned him the accolade of Class Clown in his kindergarten class, which followed him through his days at both Tomoka and Pine Trail Elementary schools and Seabreeze High School where he graduated in 1992. From there the antics, jokes and pranks continued as he furthered his education at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. His yearning for seeing what lied beyond the beach where he grew up took him to the mountains of Summit County, Colorado where he was a ski instructor and to the Amvic River area of Alaska where he guided fishermen from all over the world catching salmon, pike, and trout. From there he landed in California where he met and married his wife, Lee Yeske on Malibu Beach on April 30, 2011. It did not take long for Brad to know that he wanted to start a family, so he and his wife moved back to Ormond Beach to be close to his mom to raise their family. The past six years his mission to brighten the lives of the guests and his fellow co-workers where he worked at The Coral Sands Inn and Oceanfront RV Resort as the front desk customer service representative where everyone knew his name and looked forward to sharing experiences and a laugh with Brad.

To Brad, his family was the most important part of life, spending family time at the beach, living the best life as he boogie boarded with Avery, made sand castles with Kirra, hosting BBQ’s followed by music and dancing. His quick wit, beautiful smile and bear hugs left us all wanting more.

Brad is survived by his son, Avery (Baba Sol) 6, and daughter, Kirra (PutPut Love) (3), their mother and adoring wife, Lee Yeske Farley, mother and biggest fan, Regina (Gina) Farley and (partner Mike Uzzo), in-laws Susan and Tom Yeske and brother-in-law Shane (Somin) Yeske. He will be fondly missed by his stepmother, Mary Jane Farley, his special cousin Shannon White Wilson with whom he spent many Tennessee summers, holidays, and vacations over the years, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends who were like brothers/sisters to him. He was predeceased by his Father, Gene Farley, his paternal grandparents, Seth and Jeannette Farley, his maternal grandparents, E.P. and Jean Eblen White, and uncle, Ronnie White.

Due to the pandemic, a celebration of life will be held at a future date. There will be a memorial bench placed at Cassen Park Pier.

“Stay close to the people who matter and don’t leave anything unsaid”.

We have only known Brad since he worked at the Coral Sands but we came to love his smile and his laugh. We only found out that he had passed a couple of weeks ago. We are very shocked and saddened that this has happened. We stay at the Ormond Holiday Club now in unit #6. He would find us and say hello to us a couple of times each visit when he brought the kids swimming. We haven't been in almost 2 years because of covid but we are planning to be there in Oct. and we hope to see you Lee and the kids. Brad introduced us to you on one of our visits and it was a pleasure to meet you. I used to tease Brad about his man bun and he would just laugh, that was Brad! We're going to really miss seeing him. Our sincere condolences to you Lee & the kids and family. May he rest in peace!

We only knew Brad for the time he was at Coral Sands but he always greeted us with a smile and a hug! He was one of our favorite people that worked there. We moved down the road to the Ormond Holiday Club and he greeted us there too when he saw us. I was so glad that his in-laws have a place there because we got to see Brad and the kids a few times there each visit. We got to meet you too Lee and it was such a pleasure. We are just totally shocked and saddened by his passing. We only just found out a few weeks ago because we haven't been down to Ormond for almost 2 years because of covid.
