In her spare time, she loved attending the West Coast Auction.

To individuals who were blessed by knowing her, know that she always had an open heart and an open home. If you met her once you were family forever. She loved her grandchildren dearly and every moment together was made special and memorable.

I met her when I was still a young man, a bit nervous in a country far from my own. She and her whole family welcomed me with so much warmth and patience, taking care of me and offering everything they had to make me feel comfortable. I’ll always carry her sweet voice, her kindness, and her sense of humor with me. Hearing about her passing was really hard. I was so touched and incredibly honored to see my name in the obituary. I’ll always be grateful to the family. I just hope that everyone can find the strength to get through these sad and difficult times, feeling the love of all of us who, near or far, are part of this blessed family.

I knew Geneva when she was married to Jeff Carpenter and was our neighbor when I was growing up. Such a sweet and loving person. A favorite memory of mine is when we all went sleigh riding at her house in WV with her boys. Such a great time.
Prayers to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
