She became a homemaker and then worked for the postal service where she retired in June of 2007. Shortly after she and her husband moved to North Port, FL. There they found a home at Bethel Baptist Church in North Port where she became a member. She enjoyed hosting church functions at her home. In her spare time, she loved attending the West Coast Auction.
To individuals who were blessed by knowing her, know that she always had an open heart and an open home. If you met her once you were family forever. She loved her grandchildren dearly and every moment together was made special and memorable.
There will not be services at this time. The family just asks that you remember all of those who knew her in your thoughts and prayers as they honor this very special woman.

Prayers to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
