Obituary

George John Domich, Jr, 69, of New Smyrna Beach died Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Bert Fish Medical Center.   Mr. Domich was born November 24, 1938 in Manhattan, NY.  He worked for many years as a cook for the Monmouth Co., NJ.  Mr. Domich moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1998 from NJ.  He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  George was a giving man.  He may not have had a lot of means, but he will be remembered for giving to those less fortunate.  He is survived by his loving sister, Deanna LeBedz and her fiance, Paul Anthony and nephew, Donald LeBedz.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to a charity of one’s choice in memory of George as he would have done.      3:00PM at Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Service 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169 on November 20, 2008 (map/driving directions) 2:30 PM to 3:00 Pm at Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Service 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169 on November 20, 2008 (map/driving directions)

    I had taken care of Mr. Domich in the hospital and was surprised to learn of his passing when I came back to work Monday. He was one of the MOST kindest and gentelest souls one could meet. I was even more impressed by learning of his generosity from the wonderful write-up Baldwin Bros. did for George. When talking with him, he would always like to let me know that his sister was his greatest joy and her family too. My fondest memories will always be with him.
