Obituary
George L. Wight, 68, of South Daytona passed away on October 7. George was born in Rumford, Maine and came to this area from Bethel, Maine in 1998. He is a retired yard man for Cemex. Camping was a favorite pastime for the Wight family, but George truly cherished spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters Malcolm Enman, Lloyd Enman, Cindy Eames, Norman Enman, Shirley Staples and John Wight.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 50 years, Sandra, loving children, Samantha Noonan of Port St. Lucie and William C. Wight of Loudon, NH, brothers, Richard Franklin Enman, Larry Enman, Jerry Wight, sisters Lila Plante and Ruby Edwards, and the light of his life, 3 grandchildren and one very dear great granddaughter.
They will celebrate his life with a service on Wednesday, October 11 at 2:00 pm at the Port Orange United Methodist Church.
