Obituary

George Raymond LaMoria, age 79, died on February 7th, 2021 in Ocala, Florida. He is survived by his granddaughters, Jennifer LaMoria, Katie LaMoria and Bridget Revette as well as his great-grand son, Zachary Gauna. He is preceded in death by his wife, Therese LaMoria and his sons, Christopher LaMoria and George “Buddy” LaMoria. His friends and family will always remember him as a proud Army veteran who served his country for many years.

    George was not just a stepfather, he was a friend. He had a great sense of humor. He had a great love for dogs, and spent many hours spoiling his own. He was well known in his neighborhood because he was friendly with everyone and always smiling. I admired his devotion to his dear wife, Therese, when he cared for her in her last days.

    Not too many people would marry a woman with four children, three who still lived at home. You did. That was a testimony to your spirit. You are loved and will be missed.
