Wow.. in shock!! We worked together in Lawrence, always with the wise cracks. He called me "Alaskan" once, my response "There's going to be a clean up on aisle 5!!" We both laughed and laughed and laughed.

Words. I can’t find the words. I keep typing and erasing. Since I met you at 6 years old, there’s was never a day you weren’t apart of my life. You weren’t just my best friends dad, you were so much more. My second dad, always taking care of me like your own. you made me apart of your family. So kind, loving, fun, and oh so sarcastic. I love you so very much, I know between me and erin your spirit and memory will forever live on. Until I see you again George.
    Love you, ashley

Uncle George, I don’t know where to start. I’ll always cherish the times that our families would vacation together in New Hampshire at Loon Mountain and Indian Head. It was something I looked forward to every year. I’ll also never forget when our families went to Disney and we got stuck on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride and you started chanting, “We want out!” Then everyone on the ride started chanting it too and finally the ride started moving again. Or the time you brought me and Erin to Universal because of our weird obsession with Harry Potter. Me, you, and Erin were like a really small gang ;) I will miss you making fun of me and calling me ugly even though I know it was your way of showing you care. You always knew how to make us laugh. I hope you are resting easy up there with Auntie Maryann. You will be missed. <3

George, I will always remember the good times we shared throughout the years, there are too many to name. All who knew you would agree you were a force to be reckoned with. There was not a room you would walk into that your presence wasn’t instantly felt! RIP Uncle George you will be missed!
