George Otis Wright, Jr. passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021. He was 81 years old. He was surrounded by his wife and children when he died.
George was born in Kentucky on September 29, 1939 to Hazel and Otis Wright. He grew up in Salem, Virginia and graduated from Andrew Lewis High School. He worked for IBM and Anheuser-Busch as a Systems Analyst before starting his own company, Sun Coast Computer Services.

George has two sisters, Betty Jo Robbins (deceased) and Carole Cole (Roy). Anyone that knew George knows that his family was his whole heart. He was fiercely proud of all of them and loved them unconditionally.
In addition to his love for family, George was an avid golfer and an enthusiastic supporter of the Florida State Seminoles. George traveled back to Virginia each summer to play golf with his high school friends as a life-long member of the “Salem Dudes Club”.
There are no services scheduled at this time, but his family would like to thank everyone who has reached out to offer love, prayers, and condolences. George would love you for loving them. In lieu of flowers please donate to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
