His name was George Wunderlich. He Was A strong loving man has passed away Tuesday night, 1-22-13. He was a big man, just full of jokes. Although he was sweet, he was very tough. He served 30 years in the military as a Marine and a chief petty officer of the Navy. He was willing to die for his country. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He lived a true life! His wife rose is grieving alongside family members: Donna Lee, Jason, Jimmy, Kristen, Eric, Elyse, Joey, Francesca, Shallon, Coryn, Kaitlyn, Joey, John, James, Jack, Tessa, Timothy, Michelle, Beth, Sheryl, Ronnie, and their families and friends. George has twenty grandchildren and one great grandchild. He truly loved them and they felt the same back. Shallon is too young to realize but his “Pop” loved him a lot, and he was a brightening part of Georges life! In lieu of flowers, donations sent to the Wounded Warrior’s Ffoundation would be appreciated by both George’s family.
The service will be held, Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place 1 North Causeway, New Smyrna Beach, Florida. The family will receive friends starting at 11:30 with a service and Military Honors at 2:00 PM. Committal will be at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
