Obituary
Gerald (Jerry) Browning passed away on Thursday,September 23, 2021. Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Naoma Malone Browning, his only sister, Donna Browning Boyer and children, Angie and Jeff Gibbs, Robert and Dawnette Bruce, and Shannon and Gene Holzfaster, 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Also, his beloved 4 legged fur babies, Pay-uh, Teddy, C C and BeBe. Jerry is proceeded in death by his parents, Charles Clayton Browning and Beatrice Ione Hester Browning
Jerry was born December 31, 1945, in Dayton, Ohio, the only son born to Charles and Beatrice Browning. Jerry served 6 years in the United States Marine Corp and made his career as a master electrician. He was an active member of the Am Vets Chapter 81 and American Legion Post 336.
Jerry and Naoma moved from Dayton, Ohio to North Fort Myer, FL in October 2016 to live out their retirement dreams in the sunshine state and to view the beautiful shores of the Gulf of Mexico.
Jerry had a love for cars, music, dancing and anything that ran on electricity. He was quite “electrifying”, to say the least. Jerry always had a compliment for everyone he met and always had a smile on his face. He was quite the traditional gentleman and he will be greatly missed.
Celebration of life will occur on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the Am Vets Post 81, 1910 North Tamiami Trail, North Fort Myers.
