God saw that he was getting tired, a cure
was not to be, so he put his arms around him
and whispered “Come with Me”. With tearful
eyes, day by day we watched him slowly slip
away. Although we loved him dearly, we could
not make him stay. We saw him suffer in
such pain. But now we know he is pain free,
and in God’s hands. We miss him every day,
and though we would love to have him back,
his body was so frail and tired, ready to
leave this world. We know this life is not the
end, and we will someday see you again.
Now rest in peace our beloved man
We love you always and forever.
