Obituary

Port Orange, FL/South Hero, VT – Gerald (Jerry) Joseph LePage, age 90, died in his home in Port Orange, Florida on November 8, 2021. For 35 years, he fought a courageous battle against cancer, succumbing to the side effects of a debilitating stroke.  Jerry was born in Ste. Chrystome, P.Q. Canada on July 27, 1931. He came to Vermont in 1951 to work on the LeClair farm in Hinesburg, Vermont, before working at The University of Vermont and retiring in 1986. In his retirement, he was a handyman and worked as a greenskeeper at the Riviera Golf Club in Naples, Florida. Jerry enjoyed the beaches of the Atlantic and Gulf Coast of Florida, snowmobiling, bowling, fishing, and roller skating. He was an avid fan of NASCAR and WWE Wrestling. Jerry is survived by his wife, Priscilla, daughter, Judith Pariseau and son-in-law, Danny Pariseau of Orlando, Florida, and two grandchildren, Sarah and Christopher. He is also survived by siblings, Yvette and Raymond LePage of Ste. Jean, P.Q., Canada, his brother-in-law, Carl and his wife Janet Cole of Vermont, many nieces, nephews, and special friends like Larry and Joyce Roy. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and four brothers.

The celebration of Jerry’s life will be held in South Burlington, Vermont, in the summer of 2022. The family wishes to thank Halifax Health Hospice and Our Lady of Hope.
