Gerard “Jerry’’ DeCarlo passed away at the age of 93 years old on October 18, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Jerry was born on October 4, 1925 in Queens, New York. He was married to his Wife, Doris, for almost 50 years until she passed away in 2005. For 2 years he served honorably in the United States Army Air Force during World War II.  Jerry spent a majority of his life in Long Island, New York with his 4 daughters and wife, where he owned his own business as a carpet installer.  In 1986, Jerry and his family moved to New Smyrna Beach, Florida where he owned and operated a carpet and patio store for over 10 years until he retired in the mid 90’s.  Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family. He also loved watching the New York Giants and Fox News and having an occasional Manhattan. He is survived by his daughters: Debbie Meehan, Diane DallaChiara, Doris Casullo and Donna Phillips along with his 5 grandchildren: Angela, Alex, Nicky, Marissa and Ava.
