Obituary
Glenn Edward “Eddie” McGlone, 56, of Citrus Springs, FL., formerly of Kenova, W.V. passed away on May 30th,2019. Glenn was born on September 4th, 1962 in Kenova, WV to parents Glenn and Linda (Moore) McGlone.
Glenn (Moose) graduated from Ceredo-Kenova High School in 1980 where, not surprisingly, he excelled in football. His favorite pastimes included fishing, hunting, video games and spending time with his dogs.
Glenn worked in the weed spraying industry for almost his entire career. Kind, caring and outgoing, he never met a stranger. Glenn always had a positive outlook on life, and a smile on his face. He was at his happiest making others laugh. His answer to the question “How are you?” was always the same, “Fine as frogs hair!”. Glenn will be greatly missed and forever loved and remembered.
Glenn is preceded in death by his father.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Pamela Mengel, and their five “furbabies”, Bella, LuLu, Baby, Freddie and little Davey; son Glenn Richard Thomas McGlone; sister Deborah S. (Buddy) Perry of Wayne, WV; brothers Robert T. (Darlene) McGlone of Milton, WV and David E. (Anna L) McGlone of Kenova, WV; nieces Brandi Watts, Katie Adams and Rachel Perry; nephews Chris McGlone and Shane Perry; five great nieces and two great nephews.
Services will be private. A donation of time or money to a local animal shelter would be an appreciated tribute to his life and memory. Arrangements by Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremations 11250 SW 93rd Ct. Rd. Ocala, FL 352-236-7813
One of the best guy I ever known, my cousin and friend. He will truly be missed by everyone that knew him.
