Gloria Y. Crisostomo, 81, born in Macabebe, Philippines entered into eternal peace Wednesday, June 18, 2014. While in the Philippines, she became a teacher and eventually owned a textile business. She moved with her family to the U.S. in 1971. She was a dedicated worker for Johns Hopkins University as a research technician for 35 years and retired at the age of 72. Gloria accomplished everything she set out to do. Her determination and fortitude gave encouragement to her husband and her children to lead better lives in the United States.   The memorial mass will be held at St. Bartholomew’s Roman Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike Manchester, Maryland 21102, on July 19, 2014 at 1 PM.   “Mahal kita, my beautiful Abe.”   “You will always live forever in our hearts, Inang.”

Mahal na mahal kita, Inang – I am missing you - every day I am in tears. I want to hold you, kiss you and wrap my arms around you. It is surreal that I will not see your sweet tender smile in person ever again. I will always hold on to the memory of you smiling that one last time - letting us know that you love and care for all of us very much; the gentle smile that symbolizes contentment and that everything will be okay. Hanggang sa mag-ki-kita nalang tayo muli – in heaven. Mahal kita!

Glo, you were one of my favorites, and I know you know that! We were friends for the longest time in Baltimore, had so many fun memories of our madjong club. I always looked forward driving to your place, so I can have a taste of your great cooking, once again. Your cheap smile, was your greatest asset, so easy to give! Our own children were close friends at one time, like you and me! May you rest in peace my dearest friend...God had finally called you to His Kingdom...where your spirit will live forever! We'll meet again my friend...we'll miss you!
