Obituary

Gordon Dee Danforth, 82, of Ocala, FL, formerly of Kalamazoo, MI passed away May 14, 2017.  Born in East Jordan, MI, he was the son of the late Lester and Eula (Denton) Danforth.  Mr. Danforth was a tool and die maker for General Motors for 30 years and also was owner/operator of Professional Account Systems of Kalamazoo, MI.  He was a seasonal resident of Florida for over 20 years before finally becoming a permanent resident 3 years ago.  Mr. Danforth kept horses for many years and enjoyed harness racing.  He was also an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed gambling.  He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Wilma; son, Charles Danforth of Northville, MI; brother, Leo Danforth of Oxford, MI; sister, Marion Coleman of Scottsdale, AZ and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Danforth Moorlag.  Arrangements by Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, Ocala, FL 352-236-5884.

    We are so saddened to hear about Gordie, Wilma. There are so many good memories with you two-- the Vegas trips, the pool parties, the casino visits, your "cabin" up north, the training you provided Bob in the collection business. We're thinking about you at this sad time and hope you are doing okay.
