Gordon L. Pierce, age 68 of Ormond Beach, Florida, Formerly of Athens, NY since 1976, Born in Mount Vernon, New York, son of the late Emily Miller Pierce and Gordon Pierce. Gordon attended Middleburg High School, after attending High School Gordon enlisted in The United States Air Force. After his tour of Duty with the Air Force, Gordon began working for NY Telephone as a watch engineer for 25 years, until his retirement in 1991.
Gordon was predeceased, by his sister Beverly Moregenwick of Middleburg, NY. He is survived by his wife Betty Ray Pierce, step-son Robert C. Ray of Northport, Florida, step-daughter Melissa Dykeman of Leeds, NY; 5 grandchildren; Aunt Helen Zach of Palm Coast Fl, and Brother-in-law, Frank Morgenwick of Middleburgh, NY along with many nephews and cousins.
