Grady was a loyal shipmate and friend. He was the consummate professional and one of the most knowledgeable sailors I ever served with. I will forever remember fondly our port call in Plymouth England on the George C Marshall. Gone far too soon. Rest easy shipmate, we have the watch.

I worked with Grady while he was here in Pittsfield, MA at General Dynamics for many years. He was always full of life, upbeat, positive and super informative.

I had the opportunity to see him last year, 2020 and not much had changed except he did not have to deal with snow!

I am very grateful that I knew him. He will be greatly missed.

Grady was one wonderful man! I was his realtor here in Florida. We became fast friends! He leaves me a good friend in Gloria. I will always remember his kind and mild mannerisms. Bless the family as they find a way to go on without him here. His spirit will be with you when you need him!

    Uncle Grady..
You left us way too soon. Not a day has gone by that I don't think about you or cry that I can't just pick up the phone and call you anymore. You have given myself and my brother more memories than I can count and I love you so much for that. You were always there when our own father wasn't when you didn't have to be and we thank you for that. You are always with us, I know. You are so missed already.
