Gregory Strawbridge, of Tavares, FL, passed away on September 10, 2024, at the age of 71. Greg was born on June 6, 1953, in York, PA, and moved to Tavares, FL, where he lived most of his life. He was proud of his time serving as a Corrections Officer for Orange County and often spoke fondly of his experiences. Above all, Greg cherished his family and frequently boasted about his children and grandchildren.

Greg had a love for attending and participating in car shows, fishing, and spending time in his garage talking with friends. He will be remembered for his humor, as he loved making people laugh and bringing joy to those around him. Greg was a loyal friend, a loving family member, and someone who could always brighten the day with his presence.

Greg is survived by his daughter, Kim Forney, and his granddaughter, Morgan Forney; his son, Chad Strawbridge; and his granddaughter, Bella Christensen; as well as his brothers, Denny, Rick, and Brian Strawbridge; He was preceded in death by his mother, Nelda Gise Strawbridge, his father, Dennis L Strawbridge, and his brother, Timothy Strawbridge.

A Visitation to celebrate Greg’s life will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Baldwin Brothers – Tavares, 1350 E Burleigh Blvd, Tavares, FL 32778.

Greg will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
