Obituary

Gustavo Wendel Fernandes Souza, 26, of Lehigh Acres, passed away unexpectedly August 26, 2021, at Lee Memorial Hospital, in Fort Myers, FL. Born January 19, 1995 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, he was the son of Simone Davis (nee Souza). Surviving are his mother, Simone Davis, her husband, Sean Davis; and Gustavo’s fiancée, Annette Guzman.  Additional announcement information is forthcoming from the family. Visitation will be Friday, September 10, 2021, 12:00p to 1:00p, with a service following; at New Life Assembly, 5146 Leonard Blvd., Lehigh Acres, FL., 33973. Pastor Bernie will officiate.

    Gustavo was one of my students at FSW and I will never forget him. He was such a joy to be around and brought light to every room that he entered. I feel very fortunate to have known him and was heartbroken to hear of his passing. Sending so much love to his friends and family as we all mourn his passing.
