OBITUARY OF

Guy Edward Tylutki

 January 26, 1961 – November 5, 2024

Guy E. Tylutki of New Smyrna Beach, Florida passed away peacefully at his home on November 5, 2024.

Born in Manchester, Connecticut on January 26, 1961, the son of the late Edward A. Tylutki and Lois (Kling) Tylutki of Schoharie, New York.

Guy was last employed at Boston Whaler in Edgewater, Florida but since then enjoyed many days working in the crabbing industry. Some of Guy’s other favorite past-times included skiing, wood working, attending Nascar events and fishing while living in Florida. Guy was a BBQ and grilling aficionado and proud to serve up his special Saluki burgers. He was a true jokester, a diehard Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees fan, and had a love for all music, especially those with classic, intense rock and roll guitar solos. Most important to Guy was his love and loyalty to his family and friends.

Prior to Guy’s living in Florida, he lived in Northern California, where he met and married Nancy Carrell. Their son, Jedrek Tylutki, was born on December 8, 1995 and now resides in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

Guy is survived by his siblings, Jo A. Tylutki of Johnstown, New York and John C. Tylutki of Oak Hill, Florida (sister-in-law Michelle E. (Gee) Tylutki predeceased in 2020). Nephews Zachary Burnham, Joel Burnham and Dustin Tylutki and nieces Hannah Burnham, Danyelle Cadena and Nicole Walker also survive, along with aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life service will be held for family and close friends on January 26, 2025 in New York State.

I miss you, my friend. Many great memories to reflect on. The most notable was bringing you with me to the Gatornationals. Getting you in a cloud of nitro methane fumes was cool, but the look on your face when you witnessed your first Top Fuel Dragster run was priceless! God bless you, and rest in peace , Guy.
