Harold Jackson, 91, of Maitland died peacefully Friday, February 4, 2011. Harold was born October 16, 1919 in West Paterson, NJ to Robert Thomas and Florence Lendrum Jackson. He was the fifth of nine children. Harold was a veteran of the US Navy serving during WW II. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be remembered for his kind and gentle nature. Harold is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Catherine; two children, Harold Barney Jackson of Maitland and Catherine Bridget Cooper and grandson, Jason Cooper of Orlando; two sons from a prior marriage, Robert and Peter Jackson, two grandchildren, Jamie and Dusti and two great grandchildren, Rose and Evan.
A Life Celebration will be held at a later date when all of the family can be together to share in Harold’s life.
