Obituary

Harry Nyland, 83, Edgewater, FL passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 3, 2015. Harry was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ. He was employed by Stevens Institute of Technology under contract of the Atomic Energy Commission.

He relocated to St Alban’s, VT where he designed and built custom homes. He enjoyed fishing, water skiing, country music and Dixieland music.

Harry was an active member of the Loyal Order of the Moose for 41 years where he held the Felowship Degree and was a member of the Dolphin Athletic Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Millie and a brother Edward. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 60 years Connie, a devoted daughter Robin, brother Donald, niece Tracey and nephew Eddie who reside in NJ. Also, many close cousins and wonderful friends including his closest friend Leon.

Funeral Mass will be 9:00AM Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at St Gerard’s Catholic Church US 1 Edgewater, FL. Memorial donations are requested to Halifax Health Hospice 4140 S. Ridgewood Ave Edgewater FL 32141.
