Born to the late Homer J and Phyllis (Crandall) Davis in Beloit, Wisconsin. Jay met and married the love of his life, Bette Ann (Landschoot) in Walworth and this is where they raised their family of five children.

Jay and Bette enjoyed traveling and spent almost 25 years camping with their children in Baraboo Wisconsin where countless memories were made. Most would remember Jay with a cowboy hat and boots and a smile that lit up the room.

He is survived by his beloved wife Bette, his greatest accomplishment were his loving children, Edward Davis (Toni), Scott Davis (Stacey), Tammie Carstensen (Russell), Jay T. Davis and Mary C Mars; Nineteen Grandchildren, Thirteen Great Grandchildren, a sister Anne Moll (Harold) and his faithful companion, his four legged son, BJ.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 7, 2022 at Southern Lakes Evangelical Church in Elkhorn, WI at 4pm. The family invites those attending to a reception immediately flowing at Celebration on Wells, Street, Lake Geneva, WI.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family requests donations to Jay’s cherished charities either Wounded Warriors Project or Milwaukee Rescue Mission.
Praying you feel God's peace, comfort, and strength. Your Jay was a real treasure.
