Obituary
On January 3, 2018, Harvey John Mishoe, Jr., joined the angels in heaven. Harvey was born in Elmira, NY to Lillian and Harvey Mishoe (deceased); then spent most of his life in South Florida, and later settled in The Villages with his devoted wife of 50 years, Laura A. Mishoe.
He spent his career in management with Publix Supermarkets, where he dedicated nearly 40 years. During his career he was a well respected, fair leader and mentor to many
Harvey is survived by his only brother, Gary Mishoe; his daughters Cheri Broadway (Jeff Broadway), Danielle Donaldson (Eddie Donaldson), and Leigh Hopkins (Brian Hopkins). He also had the joy of 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Harvey was a loving husband who doted on his wife; enjoyed traveling, riding his Harley, and cooking gourmet meals for her. He was a very commited father; often taking his girls camping, volunteering at their schools, and helping with Girl Scouts and Indian Princesses.
He was involved in his community as a leader in the Chamber of Commerce, Citizen’s Police Unit, and in BOOM (Business Owners of Miramar).
Harvey will be deeply missed by the many lives he touched and impacted as the wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather, and man he was.
Harvey will be cremated, as those were his wishes. In lieu of flowers the family welcomes donations to Cornerstone Hospice or The TransKids Purple Rainbow Foundation. A celebration of life gathering will be held on a later date.
