Obituary

  Helen Foxx, 89, of The Villages, Fl passed away Feb. 2, 2014. She was born in Ogden, Utah, daughter of Ira ad Myrtle Brady, and moved to The Villages from Myrtle Beach, S.C. in 2011. Helen was a very gracious and kind person who always had a positive outlook on life and everything she came into contact with. Helen loved her new social life in The Villages and cherished her many friends at Bunco, Mexican Train, Hand & Foot, Happy Stitcher’s, Fabric Arts & Crafts, Mah Jongg, Busy Hands Happy Hearts, neighborhood socials and couples golf where she was known as a skilled puttwewith her vintage “Ping”. Helen also loved to travel, read, knit, crochet, sew, and make jewelry. She was preceded in death by husband Andy Foxx in 2008, daughter Nancy Foxx in 1980, brother Ira Brady and sister Joyce Wayman. She is survived by daughter Linda Parr and son-in-law Don Parr of The Villages, sister Donna Odekirk of Utah, nephew David Odekirk of Nevada, nieces Gaylene Odekirk of Utah and Marie Ann Barrett (Bob) of New Jersey and many grandnieces and grandnephews. Also survived by four granddaughters; Brenda Parr Bierman (Richard), Karla Parr Bedsole, Jennifer Parr Ellis (David), all of Texas and Heather Parr Weeks (Derek) of California. Six great grandchildren; J R Moravek, Britney Bierman, Ashley Linton, Jade Bedsole, Alan Ellis, and Adyn Weeks. A celebration of Helen’s life will be held at 2339 Bachman Path, in the village of Tamarind Grove on Friday, Feb. 7th between 3 and 6 P.M. Please stop by and share your stories.
