Obituary
Helen Annabelle Lardino traded this world in for her spot in heaven on September 5, 2020 at the age of 70 in Ocala, FL. Helen accepted the salvation of Jesus Christ in her early 30’s. She and her husband were members of and married in The Church of God of Prophecy. Helen graduated, top of her class from Johnson and Wales Culinary Arts College. She had an absolute passion for gourmet cooking and she loved for people to enjoy her food. Helen had run a successful catering business and worked as a server in several restaurants; finally leaving her career in food service as a GM for Denny’s in Deerfield Beach, FL., due to health reasons. Helen then took on the role of full time wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Helen’s talents were many. Aside from being a wonderful baker and cook, she was an accomplished seamstress; meticulous in any craft project she took on, Helen loved to bless others with her creations. So many wonderful memories had been made sitting around a holiday table, playing cards or a game of scrabble, laughing at one of her animated stories, or watching her Dolphins play football. She left behind her husband, Joseph Lardino, son, Chad Lewis, daughter, Kimberly Lewis, daughter-in-law, Barbi Lewis, grandson, Colin Lewis, granddaughter, Ashlyn Lewis, and great granddaughter Aleia Lewis. She also left behind extended family and friends that will all miss her very much. There are simply not enough beautiful words to describe her. Helen was committed and loving; compassionate, humble, and private. Helen would hug you, laugh with you, listen to you, pray with you, and for you. She made the world a better, happier place to be because she existed in it. Our family would like to express our thanks to all of the caring and compassionate staff at both Legacy House Hospice of Ocala and Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home. Family and friends are welcome to leave messages and upload photo memories to this online obituary.
