Helen Lashway Adams, died Friday, April 24, 2009.
Helen was born in Leverett, Ma on August 13, 1930. She and her husband Henry R. Adams (deceased) moved to this area in 1974. She owned and operated the Islander Beauty Salon in New Smyrna Beach.
She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Sandra Fadden-Detloff, son-in law Lenard Detloff, grandson Jason Fadden all of New Smyrna Beach, her son James Adams, daughter-in-law Donna Adams and their children John, Robert and David Adams from Springfield, Pa. In addition she will be greatly missed by her daughter-in-law, Ronna Wuttke and her children Stephen Jr., Zachary, Jessica, Jeremy and Ashley Adams from Bryson City N.C. She was preceded in death by her two sons, David & Stephen Adams. Not only was Helen blessed with these 9 grandchildren but she also had 6 great grandchildren. Helen was very proud to be part of a large family in which she was one of 16 children. Her memory will be cherished by her sisters; Margaret Poole, Alice Adams, Florence Powers, Joan Olanyk, Joyce Matusko, Ethel Bozak, Harriet Eddy, Mary Nuzzi, brothers; Lawrence Lashway, William Lashway, Jr, Harry Lashway, Danny Lashway, Edward Lashway (deceased), Leonard Lashway (deceased) and Richard Lashway (deceased).
Private services will be at the convenience of the family.
