Helen Louise Andrew, 88, of Edgewater, went home to our Lord on October 15, 2009 at Twin Acres Rest Home in Port Orange. Louise Andrew was born August 15, 1921 in Rocky Mount, N.C. She moved to this area with her late husband, Dale Andrew, in 1985. Prior to moving to Edgewater, they lived on a farm in Ohio and owned Andrew Orchards. They moved to Knoxville, TN and then retired to Florida. They were both members of First Baptist Church, New Smyrna Beach, where Louise taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. Louise loved her family and loved serving our Lord Jesus Christ. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, playing piano, gardening, fishing, reading, and studying her bible. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Linda Andrew of Holly Hill; four grandchildren, Love Sisk, Anthony and Justin Andrew, and Bobbie Jo Welter; three great grandchildren, Megan, Bryson, and Andrew; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Her family is very appreciative to Sandra Syford, owner of Twin Acres Rest Home, who took care of Louise like she was family.
