Helene Mushea, 99, passed away peacefully at Cornerstone Hospice, October 14, 2014 with her daughters, Margaret Mushea and Marion Jaques, and her son-in-law Vern Jaques at her side.
Helene was born August 27, 1915 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she was raised and married to Ervin Mushea. Ervin died in 1960.
In her retirement years she moved to Florida, most recently to The Villages. In her later years she was lovingly cared for and lived with her daughter, Margaret.
Helene will always be remembered for her easy going personality and her positive attitude. Even as she was faced with mobility issues in her later years, she never complained.
She is survived by her daughters, Margaret Mushea, Marion Jaques, son-in-law Vern Jaques, 3 grandsons, Vern (Ellen), Michael (Grace), and Tom (Molly), 6 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A burial mass will be held at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Brookfield, Wisconsin at 9:30 am, Saturday, November 8. Visitation will precede the Mass from 9 – 9:20 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to “School Sisters of St. Francis – Missions”, Sister Leanne (Herda), SSSF, 526 Mill St. – Ranch House, Campbellsport, WI 53010. Sister Leanne Herda is Helene’s sister-in-law’s sister.
