Obituary
Henry Warren Wright, Jr. of Clermont, Florida passed on Wednesday, October 25th, surrounded by those he loved most (and his biggest fans). He fought an epic 10 year battle with Parkinson’s disease, living his retired life to the absolute fullest, and passed peacefully while family and friends regaled each other with stories of his life and what he meant to those around him.
He is preceeded in death by his parents, Henry W. Wright, Sr. and Beatrice and sisters, Faye and Kaye.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary, who finally convinced him to travel during retirement, allowing his trademark sense of humor to be experienced far and wide. He leaves behind three children, Randy (Melissa), Melissa (Edward) and Alicia; 7 grandchildren, James (Chrissy), Jacob, Lillian, Declan, Jonathan, Jeramie, and Emily; and 2 great grandchildren, Aydrick, and Gracelyn; one niece Tina (Dana) and nephews Billy, Chris and Hank (Holly). Also Barbara, the mother of three of his grandchildren.
While not being able to golf in a few years, his best friend of 35 years, Dwight (Carol), will no longer have to worry about being run over with the golf cart (until they meet again).
Henry lived a life of laughs and love. He embodied the best qualities of a man and provided an example for others: hardworking, loving, thoughtful, sweet, and ALWAYS punctual.
He was the perfect father, husband, and friend in good times and bad, and was always there when needed… and ready to provide a chuckle. To know him was to love him, and his friends and family are blessed to have gotten so many years with him.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, November 4th at the Living Hope Church (formerly First United Methodist Church of Clermont); the service will be live streamed for those who are unable to attend.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to;
