Obituary
Join us to celebrate the life of Henry Ford Morris Wheeler, 57 of New Smyrna Beach. August 20th 1:00 – 3:00pm at Baldwin Brothers 1 North Causeway , New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169.
Henry was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 10th, 1965. He moved to New Smyrna Beach, Florida with his family in November of 1969. He attended Read Patillo Elementary, New Smyrna Beach Junior High and High School. As a child growing up in beautiful sunny Florida; Henry loved to surf, swim, fish, ride dirt bikes, and spend time outdoors in nature. He also really loved to play football, roller hockey, boxing, and lifting weights. When he wasn’t doing those things he was making memories with his six siblings along the shores of the Indian River rafting. Their sibling bonds run deeper than the ocean, they had each other’s backs through and through in life, and even still, in the afterlife. He also loved listening to George Jones, Hank Williams, Hank Williams Jr., while keeping his loving mama on her toes.
Henry was a skilled carpenter, masonry stoneworker, and a landscaper for his father at Wheeler and Sons Construction since his teenage years. He helped build the monument at Veterans Memorial Park in Edgewater, Fl. with his father Thomas, and brothers Timmy and Tommy. He worked at Owens Tree Service before starting his own business in 2004. He was the sole owner and operator of Accuracy and Affordable Tree Service until his passing on July 24th, 2022 from COVID.
Henry was a devoted father, husband, son, and brother who worked hard to support his family! His greatest passion was spending time with the family he created and being a loving father. He always wanted to have children of his own, the day his first child was born changed his whole world. He knew his true meaning of life from that moment on and did everything he could to fulfill it! His family was everything to him and he was everything to them. His legacy lives on through his children and in our hearts!
