Herbert “Tooty” Cheesbro, age 80, passed away peacefully September 1, 2023. He was born February 18, 1943, in Daytona Beach, Florida to Elizabeth and Eugene Cheesbro. He married the love of his life that he met at Wayne’s Roofing, Patricia Cheesbro, in December of 1973.

Before retiring Herb worked at Wayne’s Roofing where he was a sheet metal man, roofer, and crane operator. He was also a truck driver and appliance technician by trade. He loved being outdoors where he enjoyed fishing and hunting.  

He is survived by his brother, Gordon Cheesbro, his wife of 50 years, Patricia Cheesbro, 2 daughters; Stephanie & Teresa, 10 grandkids; Amos, Arieanna, Bo, Bonnie, Brieanna, Deanna, Denise, Kevin, Tiffani, Robert Jr, 14 great grandchildren, and many nephews & nieces.

Herbert was preceded in death by Mother Elizabeth Clifton, Father Eugene Cheesbro Sisters, Joan Ross, Merle Bundy, Brother Roger Cheesbro, and Daughter Mary Ann Austin.
