Obituary

Herbert Kalani Oliveira, 62, died Monday, September 6, 2021. He was born August 24, 1959 in Hana Maui, Hawaii to the late Frank and Ella Oliveira.

Kalani retired from the US Army after 20 years of dedicated service. He was  Gulf War veteran. He worked at ECS Christian School. He enjoyed golf and volleyball.

Surviving are; his wife, Lisa Oliveira of Fort Myers; a son, Kai Oliveira of Hana Maui, HI; three daughters, Malia Oliveira of Fort Myers, Moriah and Sierra Oliveira both of Miami; three sisters, Mavis Medeiros and Rena Oliveira both of Hana Maui, Mae Dae Kaiwai of Hawaii; two brothers, Frank James Oliveira and Milton Gerard Oliveira, both of Hana Maui.

Services with military honors will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the Evangelical Christian School, 8237 Beacon Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33907.

    I am so sorry to learn of Kalani's passing; I enjoyed working with him at ECS. He was a great guy and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
