Even though we had lost contact with Herb for awhile, he was a good friend with a huge heart. He was a kind gentle soul. We met him at the Hawaiian Inn. Got to know him very well. So many great stories he had told us about his job, his life, and even appearing in a movie as an extra. I asked him for his autograph because he was in a movie. We laughed so hard about it !!! I still have it !!
I remember helping him with his tablet when he first got it years ago. A Samsung Galaxy. He was so excited getting it. I had programmed the tablet up for him to use. I taught him how to use it so he could communicate with his family and friends. He was the best. So smart. He taught me how to do the puzzle Sudoku. We had done quite a bit with Herb, and unfortunately we had lost contact until last summer.
We are so sadden by his death. He will be greatly missed . God took him too too soon.
We Love you Herb...you're in our thoughts Always.

A friend that I met at Hawaaiin Inn 10 years ago. He was a man of God who not only talked the talk but lived the life. Great sense of humour and an e-mail buddy.

    Carl
