Obituary
Herbert M. Moran, 74, born on February 17, 1947, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 5th, 2021. He was surrounded by his daughter, grandchildren, brother, and friends.
Herbert was born and raised in New York. He worked as a surveyor for the City of New York for over 20 years then retired to Daytona Beach.
He had a close relationship with God. He enjoyed going to church where he loved to sing in the choir and help out in the community.
He enjoyed spending time with his daughter and his six grandchildren. Some of his favorite things to do with his grandchildren were swimming, sharing funny stories of his life, and taking them to local attractions.
Herbert was very intelligent, kind, and had an awesome sense of humor. He touched the lives of all that knew him. He loved his family and the people in his Daytona Beach community. Herbert M. Moran will be deeply missed.
Herb was sweet and a gentile giant of a man. I am saddened to learn of his passing.
I remember helping him with his tablet when he first got it years ago. A Samsung Galaxy. He was so excited getting it. I had programmed the tablet up for him to use. I taught him how to use it so he could communicate with his family and friends. He was the best. So smart. He taught me how to do the puzzle Sudoku. We had done quite a bit with Herb, and unfortunately we had lost contact until last summer.
We are so sadden by his death. He will be greatly missed . God took him too too soon.
We Love you Herb...you're in our thoughts Always.
