Obituary

Horace was born in Clayton, Georgia. He served our nation in the US Army and worked in auto body repair. He came to this area in 2001 from Lavonia, Georgia.He was a member of Eagles. Survivors include his wife Barbara, children Sherry and David Schaffer, Frences Higdin, Rhonda and Chauves Perez, Debra and RObert Kerr, Charles Bish,Sean and Pamela Shiffler, Lance Shiffler, John Holcomb, Theresa Holcomb, Christopher Holcomb, 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Charles Paul Holcomb and Robert Jefferson Holcomb.

    HORACE CARROLL HOLCOMB CHARLES IS NOT HIS MIDDLE he was a sgt in the us army fought for our great nation with pride,he was proud to to be an American..after words he returned to his ome town of Clayton,ga..where he stayed a short time befor the still proud man left walking with only his us armyduffle bag on his back...he walked and walked until he found work..with no experience of the automobile industry,slept in the shop on a cot at night.tought himself the skill ...fromm a mere floorssweep to top autobody repairman.......he loved to travel the us and lived in various states...morethen travel the man loved to fish, where there was water,there was Charlie hook line and sinker..a hrd workerand loving man.would rather give then receive.fatherd seven but daddy to thirteen.a loving son ,brother,father,uncle and friend too many.RIP daddy (MY HERO) MY DADDY (A TRUE AMERICAN HERO) AND FATHER TOO ALL..( I AM MY FATHERS DAUGHTER) REST NOW INPEACE DEAR DADDY REST NOW IN PEACE...
