Thoughts and prayers go out to the Jacobs family tonight. Coach Howard was an amazing gentle soul both on and off the baseball fields. The Pirates will miss him...and I will miss his never wavering assistance with our wonderful kids. Heaven just gained a perfect Coach and friend.

Prayers to the Family during this very sad time. I have known Howard for many years, first meeting him at South Orange Little League. He was my daughter's first softball coach and we served together as volunteers for many years at South Orange. He was a wonderful person and did have a passion for volunteering for various youth sports programs. He ws a very special person who will be missed.

"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints."--Psalm 116:15. Debbie, I'm sure that when Howard met the Lord for the first time, He said, "Well done, good and faithful servant", from Matthew 25:21. I am so glad that Al and I got to know Howard, and call him friend!! I will certainly miss him and his happy nature!!!

Regrettably I received the news about Mr. Jacobs passing a bit late, however, I would like to express my condolences to all of his family members.
I have only know Mr. Jacobs for a short while, he contacted me for employment with Reliable Reports and has walked me through the employment process since last year November till April of this year 2012, he also was my supervisor and very helpful colleague. I feel very blessed to have known him and be exposed to his knowledge. may he sit at the Lord's feet forevermore in peace.

I remember the first time I met Howard and he was talking about coaching an upcoming game, he gleamed when he spoke of how he enjoyed coaching the kids with special needs. He was always smiling, and very friendly. Howard will be missed, but never forgotten.

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.

Debbie, what a legacy Howard has left behind for you, and the whole family. I so appreciated how God was always first in his life and then you. He was such a devoted Godly man and everyone that came in contact with Howard has been blessed for a lifetime. Praying you continue to feel God's comfort and peace and so Blessed that Howard is coaching in Heaven with Jesus!

I only met Howard once, I think. He was wearing a Seminole t shirt. I was happy since I am Alumni. He said, "Oh no, I wear a lot of college shirts, it doesn't matter!" I liked him instantly. I loved hearing Howard stories of reading the sports page cover to cover and back again, of his teams, Poonie stories, and how he made you smile Debbie. Thank you Lord for giving Debbie 10 years of happiness with Howard.

Debbie, Howard was a SUPERman! He loved you and showed you his love in so many ways. What a blessing to have a kind, caring, gentle, giving, respectful, generous Christ-like husband!!! He was a gem in the way he loved and served with Special Olympics also. He will be missed by so many but his love and influence will continue.

Howard will be missed so much. He was an amazing grandfather and an amazing example. I am so blessed to have had him in my life. He always had a way of making everyone laugh with his silliness. He loved to play with the kids and the kids loved to play and scare their "Poonie". He will NEVER be forgotten!! We Love You!
