Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ilsa Aimeé Valentin Cruz, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Ilsa peacefully journeyed to eternal rest on July 23, 2023, in Deltona, FL, at the age of 55.

Born in Humacao, Puerto Rico, on October 12, 1967, Ilsa brought joy and warmth to the lives of those around her. She will always be remembered for her caring nature, infectious happiness, and boundless love for her family and friends.

Ilsa leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and devoted relationships. She is survived by her loving husband, Elvin Fabian Bueso. Ilsa was the devoted mother of Karylsa Delgado, Axel Delgado, and Kevin Delgado. She was a proud grandmother to Jackson Delgado and Malachi Delgado and a caring mother-in-law to Jennifer Cherry, married to Axel Delgado, and Morgan Delgado, married to Kevin Delgado. Additionally, Ilsa was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her mother, Nydia Cruz Lugo, her father, Victor Valentin, her brother Victor Valentin Jr., her sister Alma Valentin, and her nephew Christian Diaz.

During her fruitful years, Ilsa found fulfillment in being a mother and later in life in her career as a contractor, working alongside her beloved husband. Together, they created and grew their company which was a milestone for her.

Outside of work, Ilsa found solace and joy in her hobbies. She loved music and had a natural talent for dancing and could often be found gracefully moving across the dance floor. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her adored grandchildren, as they brought light and laughter to her days.

A traditional celebration of Ilsa’s life will be held on August 5, 2023, at Action Church, located at 650 E Airport Blvd, Sanford, FL, 32773. This will be a time for family, friends, and members of the community to come together, sharing stories and memories that will forever keep Ilsa’s spirit alive within each of us.

In honor of Ilsa’s memory, the family kindly requests that any flowers sent be replaced with contributions to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at https://pancan.org. Your generous donations will support invaluable research and provide much-needed assistance to individuals and families impacted by pancreatic cancer.

In the elegance of her presence, the warmth of her love, and the joy she brought to our lives, Ilsa was a treasured soul. Her legacy of compassion, kindness, and unwavering devotion will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate to know her. Her caring nature, happiness, and love will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.

May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
