  15. Bob Boigegrain says:

Juan and I took a trip to provide consultation to customer on the build out of a secure room. The hotel lost our reservations but compensated us by putting us up in the Presidential suite. That was one of several interesting events during that trip but most memorable were all the laughs we shared.
Kim, I'm so sorry. I know it's seemingly impossible now but try to remember that our loved ones are never truly gone as long as they live on in our memories.
When my mom passed two ago, Juan heard about it indirectly and sent me the following unsolicited. As you know, he was just that way. I pull it up from time to time whenever I'm thinking about her. I hope it brings you comfort, direction and strength as it has for me:

You can shed tears that he is gone, or you can smile because he has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that he'll come back, or you can open your eyes and see all he's left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see him, or it can be full of the love you two shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember him only that he is gone, or you can cherish his memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back, or you can do what he'd want:
Smile, open your eyes, love, and go on.

Juan was an ever present help in a time of need :-) I really only knew Juan from a distance and that he was very helpful. That I did not feel like I was just a cog on the wheel. He was a wonderful Servant that served well and built others up. Ugh, Sad News. Grateful he was a person that built great memories in his kindness with people and that was a reflection of his Life where he lives now :-) May the Comforter comfort you. 2Cor 1, 2-7

I am heartbroken and sad. I met Juan 10 years ago at security conference at Nemacolin. Being from the Island myself we both hit it off like long lost brothers. He was a Titan in the Security world. It is impossible to find words to fully describe what a special individual Juan was and he will be missed very much. I am very sorry to his family for their immense loss. I look forward to the day when “death will be no more.”—Revelation 21:4, and those who have died, come to life again (John 11:25). Until our paths will cross again in the future, with tears in my eyes, rest in peace my brother!
