Obituary
Ingeborg Ottillie Skirrow, age 69, of Port Orange, FL passed away peacefully on January 6,
2021 at Halifax Hospice Center after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Inge was born on October 28th, 1951 in Astheim, Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1972. She is survived by her husband Kris of 37 years, her daughter Jennifer, her son Sean all whom reside in Port Orange and sister Brigitte In Germany.
Early in her life, Inge worked on the electronics for the NASA Space Shuttle program where she met her husband Kris. More recently, she devoted herself with compassion to her family and friends, always putting others first.
We will always admire her strength, perseverance, and kindness throughout her life.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Christ Church in Port Orange, FL on January 23, 2021 at 11:00AM to honor her beautiful memories. The service will be streamed live on YouTube through Christ Church of Port Orange for family and friends that are unable to attend. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to Christ Church of Port Orange, 2421 Tomoka Farms Rd, Port Orange, FL 32128.
You were dealt a bad lifes' curve ball when Inge left you so suddenly after having successfully fought her cancer for so long. Inge will be missed, not only by you, but also by her many, many friends - myself included. She was a wonderful woman, who was always ready to help others, anytime, anywhere . . . and always with a big smile on her face. My thoughts and prayers are with not only Inge, but with the entire Skirrow family.

Charlie and I are so deeply sorry to hear about Inge's passing and send our deepest sympathies to the entire family. Inge was a lovely person and it is our regret that it has been quite some time since we've been together. We would like nothing more than to be there in person to provide hugs and love and compassion as you have done for us in past years. We appreciate that we will be able to join you online to pay our respects and to celebrate Inge's life and hear God's words as she is welcomed into more life. Know that we are thinking of you and mourning with you.

God bless her beautiful soul.
I thank God for all the 37 years we had together, the time went by so quickly that it seems like yesterday you finally said yes to me continuously asking you to go out with me. Losing you seems like a surreal dream and I’m trying to wake up. It feels like I got home early and am still expecting you to come through the door. I know that God will provide for you and I’m waiting for my time to be your husband in heaven. I truly love and miss you with all my heart. I thought that we would beat this cancer together and continue to get old in our retirement. I know that the last 8 years were so hard with all these treatments but felt for awhile that some were working. You truly the most heart warming loving person and thank you for holding me at your last breath. I love you with every ounce of by body and soul and will hold you in heaven again.
Your Loving Husband,
Kris
