Obituary
Irv Pennock, a lifelong Philadelphian, passed away on December 19, 2025 in Fort Myers, FL. Born on May 27, 1941, in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Sara.
A proud graduate of Northeast High School, Irv remained connected to his Philadelphia roots throughout his life. On March 24, 1963, he married his wife, Judy, beginning a partnership that spanned over six decades.
Irv is survived by his wife, Judy, and his youngest sister, Jackie. His legacy continues through his children and grandchildren:
Son Jeffrey and his daughter Serena. Son Richard and wife Josie, with their children Emory and Reed.
Irv was defined by his unwavering loyalty to the Philadelphia Flyers. He was a fixture at the arena for years. When he couldn’t be at the rink in person, he stayed connected to the game. He was rarely seen without an earbud in his ear, quietly tuning into the play-by-play to ensure he never missed a moment of the action.
