Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Isadora Isabell Bailey, who passed away on December 5, 2024, after battling health complications. She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Desmond Bailey; her children, Melanie Jackson (Bailey) and Quinn Bailey; her daughter-in-law, Aimee Bailey; her cherished grandchildren, Storm Jackson and his wife, Liana Jackson, Rheaden Jackson, Hunter Bailey, and Kai Bailey; and her beloved great-granddaughter, Almorá Jackson.

Isadora was born on August 9, 1936, in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, to Imogene “Gladys” Salmon and Sydney Leopold Goulburne. From an early age, her spirited nature and compassion for others guided her toward a life of service. She pursued her nursing education in England, where her dedication and skill earned her a distinguished career as a Registered Nurse, providing care and comfort to countless patients over the years.

Isadora was a woman of grace, warmth, and boundless love for her family. She cherished time spent with her loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength that will forever inspire those who knew her.

A celebration of her remarkable life will be held at Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Crematory Society in Cape Coral, Florida on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Isadora’s memory to Lighthouse of Southwest Florida or the Cape Coral Animal Shelter.
