Ivan Reinhardt passed away peacefully at Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs, FL on October 15, 2018, at the age of 78.
Ivan was born to John and Elizabeth Reinhardt on February 22, 1940 in Beulah, North Dakota. He married Jacque Bentley on October 15, 1976, celebrating 42 years of marriage on the day of his death, a love story that was meant to be endless. They lived in Coon Rapids, Apple Valley, Osseo, Prior Lake and Hackensack, MN and Ft. Myers Beach, FL. Ivan spent his career as a well-respected Software Designer in Minneapolis, MN.
Ivan enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, boating, cards. He played in a golf league at Tianna Country Club, Walker Mn, and loved the many golf outings with his brothers-in-law when the family had gatherings. Ivan also enjoyed going on cruises with his family and friends.
Ivan is survived and loved by his wife Jacque Bentley-Reinhardt; daughters Kathy (Trevor) Hoose, MN, Kimberly Barnes, FL; brother Clary (Maryann) Reinhardt, WI; grandchildren Justin (Kristi) Medenwaldt, MN; Trevor (Molly) Medenwaldt, FL; Leanna (Jason) Eberly, MN and Brandon (Kristina) Barnes, TX; great grandchildren Lavada and Tanner Medenwaldt, Korbin and Trey Medenwaldt and Makenna Eberly and Thorin Barnes, along with many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and life-long friends. Also his favorite fur-girl 10-yr old Shihtzu Bailey, gave him a life-time of love. He is preceded in death by daughter Michelle Barnes, his parents, brothers, Herb, Jack, Leo, Roland and John; and sisters Martha, Ida and Leontina and Fina.
A celebration of Ivan’s life will be held at a future date.
