In Loving Memory of J. W. Livingston

            ~Husband,Father,Grandfather~
Born on April 10th, 1942, in the heart of Eva, Alabama, J. W. Livingston’s journey through life was a tapestry woven with love, dedication, and the unwavering commitment to those he held dear. He peacefully passed away on September 29th at 7:33pm, surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a treasure trove of memories that will forever illuminate our hearts. A loving husband, J. W. was the devoted partner of Lourdes Bauza Livingston, a beacon of strength and unwavering support in each other’s lives. Together, they nurtured a family that would grow to be a testament to their love and devotion. J. W. is survived by his children, George Hubbard, Michelle Livingston (Jones), and Jacqueline Livingston, who carry his legacy forward with pride and love. The warmth of J. W.’s presence extended beyond his immediate family, touching the lives of his grandchildren: Brittany (Jones) Smith, Quinton Jones, Joseph Tovar, Jeffrey Hubbard, and Christopher Hubbard. His love even reached to the youngest generation, as he adored his great-grandchildren, Arian Smith and Anakin Smith. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and his memory will continue to be a guiding light in their lives. J. W. Livingston was more than a name; he was a man of purpose and dedication. For an astounding six decades, he navigated the open roads as a Semi-Truck Driver, a testament to his unwavering work ethic and commitment to providing for his family. His dedication knew no bounds, and his hard-earned wisdom served as a guiding compass for those who had the privilege of knowing him. Beyond his professional achievements, J. W. found solace and joy in simple pleasures. He was an avid outdoorsman, finding tranquility in the art of fishing, the freedom of boating, and the fulfillment of gardening. These hobbies reflected the deep connection he felt with the natural world, a connection he often shared with loved ones. In 1961, J. W. Livingston answered the call to serve his country, dedicating three years of his life to the United States Army. His service was a testament to his patriotism and his willingness to make sacrifices for the greater good. But perhaps J. W.’s most enduring legacy lies in the love and devotion he showed to his family. His unwavering commitment to providing for them took him on a journey from Florida to Georgia, where he worked tirelessly to build a home for his beloved wife, Lourdes, and himself. Eventually, he returned to the Sunshine State because, as he knew in his heart, there was truly no place like home. J. W. Livingston was a man of immense ambition, a steadfast provider, and a loving family man. He was a husband who cherished his wife, a father who led by example, a grandfather who showered his grandchildren with love, and a great-grandfather who left a lasting legacy of love and devotion. As we bid farewell to J. W. Livingston, let us remember the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the indomitable spirit that defined his journey. His memory will forever shine brightly in our hearts, a testament to a life well-lived and a love that will never fade.

This was a screenshot of me seeing my grandfather after his car accident and me being incredibly glad that he had made it alive. He's gone now taken by a disease but we will never forget the jokes he made no matter the situation. You are always loved papa Jay.
