Obituary
Jack Buford Sisk of Ocala, Florida died Friday, January 29, 2016 at his residence. He was born on December 3, 1927 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Charles and Mary (Cortie) Sisk. He married Gladys Ruth Sisk on April 8, 1950 in Norfolk, Virginia. Jack is survived by his beloved children Charles (Rowena) Sisk, Cyndi (Steve) Lyon, Debby (Donna) Sisk, Ginny (Beth) Golden, Connie (Paul) Heatherman, Deanna Sisk, Teresa (John) Mitchell and Dawn Sisk. He was predeceased by his wife Gladys Sisk, son Jack Sisk and daughter Christina Follett. Jack was survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by brothers Thomas and Everett. Jack served in the US navy for 20 years from 1945 to 1965. He also worked until retirement for IBM Corporation. Jack loved life, his country, his family and having fun. He always enjoyed a great cup of black coffee and a good joke. Later in life he took pleasure in collecting coins and going to auctions. Cremation services will be performed by Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society. A service will be held at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on Tuesday February 9, 2016 at 1:00PM. The following is a link to the website for directions and phone number:
