Obituary
Jack N. Schreihofer, 93, husband of Barbara Miller Schreihofer of Estero, FL, passed away February 9 at Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs FL. Born September 7, 1924, in Orange New Jersey he was son of the late William and Emma Schreihofer and brother of the late Leslie W. Schreihofer. Jack attended East Orange High School and then served in the U.S. Army during World War II. After the war he earned a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Southern California. Jack married Dorothy Lee Kelly in 1945. They were married for 56 years and raised 3 children in Southern California. Dotty preceded him in death in 2001. He served as Sunday School teacher and Deacon at St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church in Van Nuys, California, Board member at Keowee Key Country Club in Salem South Carolina and enjoyed camping, fishing and golf with family and friends. He married Barbara Miller in 2002 and they enjoyed 15 beautiful years in Flat Rock NC and Estero FL. Jack is survived by wife Barbara, daughters Nancy Engelhardt of Burnsville, NC, Carol Choquette of Salem, SC, and son Robert and his wife Dee of Raymore, MO; Niece, Linda Plamandon and her husband Eddie. 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice Chapel, 27200 Imperial Parkway, Bonita Springs, FL at 1 PM on Wednesday, February 14 2018. Donations in his name may be made to Hope Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
