Jack was someone you couldn't help but like. I am blessed to have known such an amazing man. I will miss the jokes we shared and the laughter they produced. Fly high and soar without limits,Jack!

Pop was the man who set the bar. He was far from perfect & the first to admit it, but his open arms and open heart never ceased to include & envelope EVERYONE he met in love without judgement. His laugh was infectious and could cure any blues - I still hear it in my dreams. I'll miss Granny asking him not to tell that inappropriate joke or air force story that us kids were asking to hear again. I'll miss their arguments over how many more days or weeks he could go without a hair cut. I'll miss moving the pup so I could get a place in his crossed leg lap where I could admire the gold chain or pendant in his chest hair. I'll miss the gracious way he declined my offers to make his evening cocktail because I was sure to add too much water to the whiskey. I'll miss days in the pool on Osceola. I'll miss a summer he spent holding hands on the patio with his great granddaughter. I'll miss the devious, knowing glint in his eye. I'll miss his unconditional support. One of the last things we talked about was how proud he was of his family - not of our accomplishments, but they'd we'd grown with good hearts and treated others with decency at all times. That is his legacy... may I never let him down. "Spread Your Wings"

Pop showed me a lot about what family is, what marriage should be, and what a man could be. He always treated me like a member of the family from day one and always made me feel welcome at every table. Anyone that didnt know him missed out on a great man and I will miss him every day.

Jack was a wonderful neighbor. Cindy and I always looked forward to going to our home in Florida, in part, because we would get to see Jack and Renee (and Sparky) when we got there.
We couldn’t be more sorry to lose Jack, but at the same time so glad to have known him.
Our condolences go out to his family .

Pop... he was a man that was larger then life!!! I always told him he was the tallest short man I ever knew... He was a very humbled war hero and a very humbled leader of our family which we all cherished... Pop took life as it came to him and somehow always got through it with a smile and a joke!!! Rest easy now Pop... You will be greatly missed but you will never be forgotten!!!

    Love you lots,
    Your favorite son-in law, Larry

Jack, You have always been a Brother to me! My life has always been better having you in it! Our Mom and Dad loved you as well!! We always tell the story about Mom's leg apple pie! You did not care that she dropped the pie and caught it with her leg! Destroyed the pie, but you still thought it was great! The day you came in when Dad had just pulled the corn out of the garden, Mom was going to put it in the freezer, you ate it before it made it to the freezer! We all loved you so much for your kindness and laughter, most of all because you loved us! You and Rene, me and Gary always had a great time together! We took Cruises, we went to great Hotels and visited wonderful resorts!
We rode in our houseboat and flew in your plane! Always laughing and loving our time together and never forgetting Happy Hour! You will be missed and my heart hurts today! I know God was ready for you and I know you was ready to go! Fly high Jack, you will always be loved!
